Rope the Moon

Introduction

This is the first of a two-part autobiography. These stories are remembered from 1936 when I was five years old until I joined the Air Force in 1950. They are presented in chronological order and will show how life was while growing up during that time frame.

This was written in the year of my ninetieth birthday, and because of the drastic changes over the years, some stories may seem to be fictional. But this is my honest and true personal account from that time. Some names have been changed to protect the innocent.
