1. What cookies we use
sessionid
Type: Strictly necessary
Purpose: Maintains your session while you browse the site — for example, remembering your language preference, or that you are logged in.
Lifetime: Until you close your browser or after 2 weeks
csrftoken
Type: Strictly necessary
Purpose: Protects against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks by verifying that forms are submitted from our site.
Lifetime: Up to 1 year
cookie_consent
Type: Strictly necessary
Purpose: Stores the user’s choice about cookie preferences so we don’t show the banner again unnecessarily.
Lifetime: Up to 6 months
__stripe_mid
Type: Strictly necessary (payment)
Purpose: Enables secure payment processing and fraud prevention through Stripe.
Lifetime: Around 1 year
wishlist_id
Type: Functional
Purpose: Keeps track of your open wishlist or basket before you sign in or check out.
Lifetime: Until wishlist is cleared or session expires
visitor_id
Type: Functional / Analytics
Purpose: Assigns a unique anonymous ID to your browser so we can remember viewed pages or products. We also use aggregated, anonymised statistics derived from this ID to understand how visitors use our site. When you sign in, the information collected under this ID may be associated with your account to help us improve your experience and recommendations.
Lifetime: Up to 6 months. Cleared if the customer signs in
Cloudflare cookies (__cf_bm, cf_clearance, __cfruid, etc.)
Purpose: Used by our content-delivery network to protect the site from bots and ensure fast loading.
Type: Strictly necessary
Lifetime: Around 1 year
We do not use third-party advertising or marketing cookies. We do not embed third-party widgets that set cookies.
2. Managing cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can delete existing cookies or block new ones, but some essential features (such as the basket or checkout) may not work correctly if you disable strictly-necessary cookies.
3. Analytics
We analyse visitor behaviour using only our own first-party cookies (visitor_id and wishlist_id). These analytics are aggregated and do not identify individual users. The data help us improve our website’s design and usability.
4. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last reviewed.
