In this way, little ones will know God as a protector, teacher, and comforter. Including colorful illustrations and a lively meter, this verse can serve as a bedtime story to help children sleep, and it allows adults in the child's life to find peace in resolving the day.

Offering a bedtime prayer in poetic form, this verse entrusts children into God's arms for the night and provides peace for readers of all ages.

I’ll need you to guide me on my path, I know, so help me to feel you beside me as I go.

Thank you, God, for this day.

Wrap your arms around me and keep me safe and healthy till the new day is here.
