Twister

Summary

A murder mystery full of high finance and lowdown characters from "one of the most popular writers of the early twentieth century" (Mystery Scene). Lord Frensham is being swindled in the stock market, and his number-one suspect is Anthony Braid. But Braid has the nerve to suggest that it''s actually Frensham''s own nephew who''s stealing from him. The truth behind the embezzlement will have to be untangled by Scotland Yard''s Inspector Elk after Frensham is found dead in a highly staged "suicide"...
