Tried by Fire, but Not Burned

About the Book

Life can oftentimes leave us wounded. Things such as an unexpected illness, a sudden death, or betrayal can hurt to the point where healing seems like an impossibility. More often than not, we miss out on the fullness of God's joy and we go through life spiritually crippled because we allow our circumstances to define and defeat us. Sharing personal stories from his own life, Pastor Clayton E. Howard takes readers on a journey of his failures and faith, both of which have been essential to his ministry and spiritual growth for over thirty-three years. Whether you have a checkered past, a painful present, or a future headed straight for a cliff, Tried by Fire, but Not Burned brings words of encouragement and hope for your situation. Your pain is not without purpose. This story serves as a reminder to us all that we are "more than conquerors" through Him that loved us.
