About the Collection

This second collection of Tony Harrison's poetry for the stage contains his adaptations of Molière, Racine and Victor Hugo.

Included are the plays The Misanthrope, Phaedra Britannica and The Prince's Plays.

The volume contains introductions, written by Tony Harrison, to each of the plays.
