Three Noisy Chickens to the Rescue

Story Summary

Grandma has three chickens that live in a pen at the bottom of the garden. They talk to one another in loud squawks and are always very noisy.

One winter's day, Alice, her granddaughter, comes to visit, but it is snowing so hard she can't take Max the dog out for a walk.

The next day, although it has stopped snowing, Max goes outside with the chickens and disappears!
