Summary of Eli Sharabi's Hostage

On October 7, 2023, Eli Sharabi's life in Kibbutz Be'eri was shattered when Hamas terrorists stormed his home, separating him from his wife and daughters. Beaten and blindfolded, Eli was dragged into Gaza, his sole focus on survival and returning to his family. In Hostage (2025), Eli recounts his 491 days of captivity and offers a firsthand account of life inside Gaza's tunnels. Enduring hunger and dire conditions, he clung to faith and the will to live.
