Some Glories of Greece

This is a light and personable account of a quick tour of parts of Greece in 2019. The tour focused on ancient Grecian sites—archaeological wonders and the museums connected with those sites, from the Acropolis to the original Olympics, from the Agora to Mycenae—and on some of the most appealing places of modern Greece—the beauties of Nafplion and three of the Saronic Islands. The book is lushly illustrated with 100 of the author's photographs.
