The Incident
In 1979, an interracial couple was pulled over by two white supremacist cops in a small county of the State of Tennessee. A fight broke out, and one cop was killed while the other one was shot.
Samson Ali's Story
The Air Force Lieutenant, Samson Ali, was sentenced to death by an all-white jury. His 10-year-old son, who witnessed the whole event, set his eyes on law school, hoping that time doesn't run out for his father.
Uncovering the Truth
On his quest, he found out that his daddy not only was falsely convicted but that night also brought an end to a serial killing spree along the 25-mile stretch of highway through Teller County, Tennessee.
The Aftermath
The truth came out and set off a war between white supremacist leader George Furman and his militarily trained followers. This forced the F.B.I. to allow the United States military to intervene in order to help bring an end to the killing spree.
