Merle Fischlowitz has recently published two other volumes of poems. From Dirt Paths to Golden Streets: Poems of Immigrant Experiences (2010) tells stories of individual immigrants from many cultures, their reasons for immigration, and the challenges and benefits of becoming American.

Songs of Exotic Birds (2012) contains poems written over sixty years, including poems written in the voices of others that his psychologist's ear has caught at special moments or rites of passage, when irony imbues the experience.
