River Bridge Friends

About Lil and Phil

Lil and Phil are the owners of two dogs, named Daisy and Pip. They live at a seaside resort in Mollymook Beach. It is a lovely place with lots of wildlife where the geese have found a little bridge to live under.

The Geese and Their Names

Lil gave the geese names Jessy, Betty, Bessie and Henry.

The Dogs and the Geese

Each day the dogs would chase the geese away, but the geese only flew a little way from the dogs. One day the dogs were awakened by the screams of young birds. They all raced out to the street and there before them were the geese with four young goslings in tow.

The Friendship

From that time on, the dogs did not chase the geese and they became friends.
