Poems from the Soul is about the deepest parts of one's being. It is a cry for help and human understanding. It is about connecting with God, who is our Creator and Preserver. God is always on our side.

I had to say this every day and all day to overcome the many obstacles put in my way. I had to jump over hurdles that seemed insurmountable. My faith in God grew as I tried to dodge the fiery darts of evil as they tried to pierce me every day and every night.

I had to depend on God for my survival, and I had to pray more than I ever did before. Writing these poems has helped me to become stronger and more secure in my faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
