Penny for Your Thoughts

One thing, One thought at a time, Is better than Everything All the time.

In a debut collection of poetry, Ellison Kudzayi Madenyika offers lyrical wisdom that touches on the life experiences of the poor and uneducated. With the intent of strengthening the less fortunate and offering hope for both the present and an uncertain future, Madenyika reflects on a variety of topics and themes that encourage others to avoid antagonizing greedy, power-hungry, and ambitious souls as well as disagreements fueled by lies and instead to embrace gratitude, forget pain, and forgive. Throughout his collection, Madenyika reminds us that in being nobody, we become somebody, and that life, no matter how hard, is a gift that can be positively transformed simply by focusing on becoming better every day.
