Patsy's Blue Hat

It's Christmastime, and eight-year-old Patsy can hardly sit still for the class party.

But when she unwraps her gift from a classmate, she finds something she never expected: a plain, worn, secondhand blue hat.

Hurt and embarrassed in front of her friends, Patsy doesn't hide her disappointment and the girl who gave it to her sees every bit of it.

That night, with her mother's gentle guidance, Patsy discovers there's more to the humble hat than she realized... and more to friendship than she understood.

A little warm water, a little love, and a lot of forgiveness transform not just a gift, but a girl's heart.

Patsy's Blue Hat is a tender Christmas story about looking past first impressions, owning up to our mistakes, and the surprising ways God uses small moments to teach big lessons.

With gentle illustrations and an authentic child's-eye view of pride, regret, and grace, this heartwarming picture book is perfect for family read-alouds, Sunday school shelves, and holiday stockings alike.

Share it with the child in your life this Christmas and watch a story about a hat become a story about the heart.
