Not Yet Home

He wakes in a perfect land far from anything he remembers.

The world is light and orderly, impossibly calm, a beautiful escape untouched by pain or consequence. He does not know how he arrived, only that something essential has been stripped away. Memory feels distant. Emotion lingers where it should have faded. And despite the peace surrounding him, he cannot shake the sense that he is not meant to want anything here.

Love does not end just because the world is quiet.

His wife remains just beyond him, alive in a world he is no longer part of. The closer he strains toward her, the more the beauty around him begins to falter, as if this place is never meant to survive longing.

What begins as devotion grows dangerous.

The more he resists the stillness of this place, the more it resists him in return. In the spaces where perfection fractures, something watches. Something waits. And with every step toward the woman he loves, he risks losing himself to forces he does not yet understand.

Not Yet Home

is a haunting exploration of grief, desire, and the cost of refusing to let go. It is a story about love that survives death, about a beautiful escape that cannot endure human longing, and about the peril of mistaking devotion for salvation.
