Introduction to the Journey

A small boy begins a conversation with God and gradually a relationship develops under God's gentle and guiding hand. This is the story of that personal relationship which guided him for the rest of his life.

Preparation for Service

He is being prepared for a work that God will reveal as time progresses. God has many different areas of service and He searches out people who are willing to be developed for their particular work.

Initial Steps and Challenges

At first, this servant's work seemed to be small and insignificant. He needed to cultivate a willing spirit which could accept this and do only that which God would place before him.

Observations and Opportunities

He noticed that many of the local villages had churches and chapels which were now closed due to depopulation. However, The Word still needed to be proclaimed.

Teamwork and Support

It soon became obvious that a team of helpers would be needed, and his family joined in eagerly to support.
