Murder's Shield

Out of frustration at the constant red tape and frequent botched arrests, a group of police have formed their own small, secret army – a clandestine force methodically killing those people the law cannot reach. It’s scaring the hell out of the underworld – and the White House.

Secret organisation CURE is called in to eliminate this group before it becomes too powerful, but almost immediately there is a problem. Because Remo Williams, CURE’s superweapon, is a former cop. He refuses to kill cops. Especially cops doing the same thing he does . . . in almost the same way.

So it’s up to Chiun, the ancient Korean who is Remo’s mentor and companion. Can Chiun get Remo to take on the killer cops and serve once more as America’s last line of defence?

Breathlessly action-packed and boasting a winning combination of thrills, humour and mysticism, the Destroyer is one of the bestselling series of all time.
