About the Book

This book is a collection of fond and treasured remembrances over the past nearly forty years, while spending the summers on my cherished Little Brackens Island on the Muskoka Lakes.

As we get older, our recollections grow a bit dimmer. The descriptions blossom and become more delusional. The memories are augmented and laced with incongruities, misconceptions, errata, inaccuracies, inconsistencies and some questionable apparitions.

All of them are sworn as the sacred truth by a beguiling, impetuous and fanaticizing imagination.
