Individual and the Community

First published in 1922

The Individual and the Community is a simple statement of the principles which underlie human activities, and condition the combined efforts of two or more individuals: with a comparison of human and animal communities, a distinction between community and State, and a forecast of communal evolution. It is a handbook of human co-existence. This book will be of interest to students of philosophy.
