God and Free Will

God, the maker of the universe associated with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their descendants, the Israelites, is the author of freedom of choice.

Though He created Adam to inhabit the Garden of Eden, He yet gave them the freedom to obey or disobey His directive that they refrained from eating the fruits of the tree of life in the middle of the Garden of Eden.

Their choice determined how God dealt with them. God watched on while they interacted with Satan over heeding God’s directive or Satan’s suggestion that they disregarded God’s directive.
