Introduction

This is a journey of a true Texas Drama Queen and her new business venture. These short stories will make you laugh and they will make you cry as you read about everyday events in a Ladies Consignment Shop. This is a husband/wife team that came out of retirement to start this little shop. They had been hammered financially by the Great Recession or as Peggy Ann calls it, The OMG Bush fiasco.

Characters and Personalities

She has a colorful vocabulary when it comes to politics or sharing her opinion. You will hear her husband, Ira say, I worked for IBM for thirty years so I could retire and help operate a ladies consignment shop. The ladies, young and old, love him and you will read how gracefully he handles some of the obnoxious old ladies, as he puts it.

Peggy Ann's Approach

Peggy Ann on the other hand, deals with her problem customers using her strong Texas upbringing and a little of her gritty language. All this makes for Never a dull moment.
