Airman Jeremiah, who is stationed at Hickam Air Base in Hawaii, meets the kahuna lapaau and learns the Hawaiian philosophy of hooponopono—the art of forgiveness and compromise followed by the harmonious merging of soul and body.
Marriage and Tragedy
On his next assignment in Korea, Jeremiah falls for a beautiful chaste Korean girl and marries her. When his family is found murdered, Jeremiah is the prime suspect, forcing him to go AWOL.
