Cafeteria Poetry

Title and Origin

The book title Cafeteria Poetry was chosen because all of this material was written in a local cafeteria.

Many of the poems in this volume were first written when Linwood was a ninth grader attending Southern Nash Senior High School in Baily North Carolina.

Creation and Content

The original drafts were lost over the years, but the contents remained with Linwood forever. They were simply recreated for this book.

Each poem is an original, and full of wisdom and curiosity. Some are simply funny but always thought provoking.

Author's Hope

Linwood's hope is that everyone will find something in this first book that strikes a chord for them.
