About the Book

This book is about a young bear named Brownie that is growing and learning. He has learned to do a lot of things like climbing trees and catching fish.

Brownie's Goal

But the one thing he hasn't learned to do is growl, and he wants to win the Great Growling Contest. So he practiced with each of his animal friends.

Brownie learns to make many sounds, but growling isn't one of them. However, when someone is bullying his friend, he growls the most perfect growl ever heard!
