Beat Buddies

Officers' Careers

Both officers began their careers as beat officers in downtown Amarillo. They acted as backup for each other whenever needed. They knew each other by the sound of their voice over the radio if assistance was needed, responding Code 3s. Both officers carried the weight and the kind of chaos most folks only glimpsed on the evening news.
