George Orwell was a much-respected English novelist, who wrote some of the finest pieces in literary criticism, fiction. Orwell's work is known for its simplicity and wit. Two horses, Boxer and Clover. Amongst them, Major is their leader. He wanted to speak on the nature of life on this earth and how any animal is now living. The author has nicely elaborated through these characters about the animals' misery and slavery. Animals complain that despite their hard labour, why then do they continue in the miserable condition? They also complain about human beings that they use to steal nearly the whole of their produce. Their main enemy is - Man. So, remove Man from the scene and the root cause of hunger and overwork will be abolished forever. The book narrates about the agony of ill-treated farm animals. Then what decision they take and how this Animal Farm is born, everything has become very interesting. The ultimate satire on fascism. A must-read book. The Time Machine
H.G. Wells, the author, has been called the father of science fiction. The Time Machine is one of his most notable science fictions. It's a Time Traveller's journey into the future. He explains that there are really four dimensions, three of which we call the three planes of space, and a fourth, time. Also, there is no difference between time and any of the three dimensions of space except that our consciousness moves along it. The book narrates how the Time Traveller plans for a machine to travel through time and disappear. It compares the present time and future time. Like, the air is from gnats, the earth from weeds or fungi; everywhere were fruits and sweet and delightful flowers; brilliant butterflies fly hither and thither. The ideal of preventive medicine is attained. Diseases are stamped out. No contagious diseases. Even social triumphs are achieved. Mankind is housed in splendid shelters, gloriously clothed, and not engaged in toil. No signs of struggle, neither social nor economic. The population has ceased to increase. No one can predict anything about the future time. This book seems very interesting, as it solves many queries raised by the various characters in the book with the Time Traveller. The author has written his best to enthrall the readers. Many future films and television series are made on The Time Machine, which has in turn inspired new books on the topic of The Time Machine.
