The doors are open!
For months we’ve been quietly building Reading Dinos behind the scenes — designing, testing, fixing, dreaming. It wasn’t always easy, but it was exciting.
And today… we finally get to share it with you.
Reading Dinos is now live. You can browse ebooks, buy, download, and — most importantly — read.
In a world that never stops flashing and scrolling, we’re proudly dinosaur-slow. No pop-ups, no noisy ads — just you and the books.
This moment marks the end of our private journey — and the beginning of a new, far more exciting one: a journey we take together with our readers.
What you can do today
Right now, you can already:
- Wander through a catalogue of 1.5 million+ English-language ebooks.
- Read everything in ePub format with LCP protection — compatible with lots of popular reading apps.
- Search, explore, discover, buy, and download — all from a clean, distraction-free website.
- Pay securely using Stripe (card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay).
- Create a wishlist to save books for later (or for payday).
If you have a British billing address, you can start buying today. Everyone else can explore the catalogue and get ready.
Coming soon (the near future)
We’re already working on features that make Reading Dinos smarter and more connected:
- OPDS access, so ebook apps can talk to our catalogue directly.
- FBReader integration — frictionless, straight-to-reader.
- Age verification, required by the Online Safety Act, unlocking some books currently hidden from view.
Coming a bit later (but worth the wait)
After that, we’ll grow bigger:
- Buying from more countries.
- More formats, starting with PDF.
- A larger catalogue and richer book pages — with excerpts/samples so you can read before you buy.
- Better search, better suggestions, better everything.
And further down the trail…
Some plans we’ll reveal. Some we’ll surprise you with. Let’s just say: the dinosaurs have ideas.
