The Wounded Flower

I found a wounded
flower while wandering
far back roads
Battered, bruised and
bleeding from life''s
uncaring goads.

Though tattered, torn
and wilted, she offers
beauty still.
Sweet odor of
enlightenment, she gives
of her great will.
