About the Book

"When Shoes Drop" is an inspirational memoir from a 20-year Air Force Veteran. Eric Laurhammer knows that battles will always be fought. At certain times in life, personal battles demand we muster our strength and fight demons of all sorts.

So, in 2012, when a small sore developed on his left shin he fought the battle. Seven years later he had lost all of his toes and his left leg. But he is here to tell the story. The eight year battle was never easy, but Eric used it to learn everything he could.

From conflict to health, we all fight battles. We might be exhausted. We might be disheartened. But we can always find ways to rise up.
