Women have dominated in most categories - except the MPs themselves, who have of course been overwhelmingly male. but, now there are now more women in parliament than ever before with the election of Labour government.

will, through the stories of the women themselves, chart the changes taking place in the first session of the new parliament. McDougall will focus on the lives, working as well as personal, of a group of women who will also be the stars of a TV programme.
