Our human experience in time

Our human experience in time can be like watching a movie trailer but never actually getting to see the movie or looking away momentarily and realizing the movie was fast-forwarded to another scene. Every moment is perpetually flowing into and becoming the past; instantly enshrined as memory as soon as we experience it; never to be repeated.

And though we have a temporary existence, we regularly muse about eternity, as if we have a primordial memory embedded deep in our psyche. We, somehow, sense that we are not meant to be prisoners of time.
