Unwritten Love
Memoirs of Cape Town
Introduction
In this book I would like to place emphasis on the role that grand-parents can play in the lives of their grand-children where the parents have died or just left them with the responsibility.
Context and Personal Experience
There are so many motherless children in our world, who does not get the quality of life which they deserve. My sisters and I were some of the lucky few. My experience growing up in grandma's house, and the help that she was given from the neighbouring community, is reflecting in this book.
Themes and Content
The outpouring of love and generosity is experienced in my writing. This is an honest authentic account of life growing up during Apartheid, while also dealing with the loss of a parent. This book is packed with incidences, memories, characters, deeply moving accounts, love, respect, bonding, and devotion.
