Jim and Cat Ryan's Return
Jim and Cat Ryan have returned from their honeymoon, and Jim immediately gets back into his work for the FSC. Since he is gone much of the time, he gets Cat to become an FSC agent.
Cat's First Mission
On one of her first missions, Cat has to help rescue a diplomat who is being held in North Korea. During Cat's training, she is paired with another agent named Cassidy Love.
Interactions with Cassidy Love
Cassidy becomes interested in Jim and gives him a hard time when she isn't allowed to join Jim's team. Cassidy files false charges against Jim but later has to drop them when Jim and Cat have to rescue her from North Korea.
Tragedy and Faith
When tragedy strikes Cat, she finds out who her friends really are. She discovers that having faith in God helps her through a really rough time in her life and that God always has a purpose for each Christian's life.
