Introduction

After watching my great-grandmother Grantham decline from Alzheimer''s disease, I became an advocate of awareness and research funding by volunteering with the Alzheimer''s Association and local memory care assisted living homes. As a child who did not understand what was happening, using a coloring book to explain the disease and its effects on children just seemed necessary. Understanding Alzheimer''s disease is an introduction to indicators that provides an easy way for children to identify Alzheimer''s disease.
