Poetry as a Reflection

Most of these poems are a small piece of myself, an insight to parts of my life—past, present, and even future. They are fresh at the time they are written, a natural flow of raw emotions about whatever is going on around or inside of me at the time. It’s not clouded by anyone’s judgment. It is unbiased and true, although sometimes dark or awkward.

Some may appear too dark, too real, too hurtful, but that is real life at its finest—curve balls and all—totally un-feel-tered. There is no filter in life when feelings are involved. We all feel them. Hidden or not, they happen.
