Edgar Cayce and Holistic Health

Aprominent figure in modern holistic health, Edgar Cayce gave numerous psychic readings on the causes and treatment of epilepsy. In contrast to mainstream medicine that concentrates almost exclusively on the brain as the sole dysfunctional organ in epilepsy, the Cayce readings focus primarily on pathology in peripheral systems (especially endocrine glands, the autonomic nervous system, and the abdominal lymphatic system) which in turn cause or contribute to brain seizures.
