The Travelling Man and other Stories is a collection of the top 10 entries from the Griot African Storytellers Competition in 2020 with the theme of Adventure. The authors hail from Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Zambia, and Cameroon.

These 10 stories all follow the theme of Adventure but each with a unique perspective on the theme. Some are romantic, others are quests, and still others deal with unwanted adventures that are part of life. The stories are all set in countries in Africa.
