About the Book

When Ronyan is a child, he realizes he is not like other children—he can’t fall asleep at night. Instead, Ronyan has a phenomenal gift to transcend to different planes of the universe, to fly above the trees, to soar with the birds, and to swim with majestic creatures in the sea. But when his parents tragically die, Ronyan is whisked away to an island to live with his uncle. After years of keeping his gift a secret, Ronyan decides to embark on a journey to find answers for the suspicious events that surrounded his parents’ death, the answer to the reason behind his existence, and what it means to be the Transcendent.
