Poetry and Emotions

My poems always meant the world in a single word. As I loved more, hurt more, and cried more, all I had to offer creatively was released into tissues, in my car on the way home from any event, in the shower unable to clean off the stale feeling.

Stale, was what I became. Fresh was what decade and now my words mean nothing.
