Toby, From the Shelter

is based on our family's true story of the loss of a long-time family pet and the adoption of another from a local shelter (ACS) in San Antonio, Texas.

This story helps children understand that it is ok to find joy again after grieving the loss of a pet, and that shelter animals can become delightful additions to families.
