Introduction

This book is a new experience in poetry with Spanish and English poems of varying themes and sizes, but with many sonnets.

The sonnet form has not been used much in recent years but has again surfaced as a succinct way to express oneself poetically.

Although these sonnets are not exactly like the ones of old of Elizabethan and Italian forms, they are an experiment in fourteen-line verse for our day.
