This book features my daughter L''Liyah and my son Ja''avontae, who take the readers on a game to discover what is special about L''Liyah. The pictures provide clues and hints on why my daughter is special.

In writing this book, I wanted to show how being different—especially being a deaf child—is okay. It emphasizes that children with special needs are not different from their peers in their age group.
