Purpose of the Book

The purpose of this book is to provide a review of tectonic outlines of the Asian continent, metallogenesis rules of 242 large deposits or fields in 67 tectonic units of 6 tectonic domains in Asia, and guidelines for the mining companies to effectively prospect the large deposits in Asia in future.

The main contents include the tectonic evolution of every tectonic unit in Asia at different geological periods, the mechanism of growth and intraplate deformation of the Asian continental lithosphere, the lithospheric types of the Asian continent, and the relationship between tectonic evolution and mineralization process in the Asian continent.
