Book Summary

Marcus and Mia live on a farm and they are excited about being out of school for the summer. They learn so much by taking long walks and watching the different animals such as cows, chickens, and frogs. They learn that animals change and grow. They watch moms as they take care of their young. Emergent readers are supported by high-frequency words and colorful illustrations. Students will have several opportunities to recognize and identify characters and setting. They will be able to connect to prior knowledge as they read this wonderful realistic-fiction story.
