Introduction

I chose these poems that pertain to the various familiar stories of the Bible about the heroes and the not-so-heroic persons and, of course, about Jesus. The whole idea being to show how similar our lives are to those in biblical times and how we can best deal with our situations today.

Are Bible stories applicable today?

Do we have giants in our lives like David did? Are we sometimes rejected like Hagar? Does God really care anymore? Moses listened to Jethro. Whom do we listen to?

Relevance of God's Power and Love

Is there enough power and glory to reach across two thousand years when Christ walked the earth to affect our days of modern technology? Should we gear God and love Him and His Son? The challenge is there; choose wisely today! It is a life-or-death issue.
