About the Book

A book about a boy and his family and how they struggled through The Great Depression, a father’s early death that left a mother with six children and only farming and family skills, in bad health with no insurance or means to earn a living, no home, no car, and seven dollars to pay on a grave site. This is a story of that boy’s life.
