Plot Summary

When Shan Lante returns to base camp he discovered that it has been burnt to a crisp, leaving him the only living human being on the planet Warlock. Now he must find a way to keep alive and avoid both the Throgs who destroyed the Terran base and the aliens native to Warlock. With few options, Shan will learn his limits and the secrets of this strange planet in his quest for survival.
