I went to a historically black college and learned how to be an effective white person. I went to a historically white college and learned how to be an effective black person. I went to a historically religious university and learned how to hate more effectively. After all that confusion and insanity, I am truly made in America and like the Sunflower, I am still here! After 50 years, I now know that:

"Love knows no color and no boundaries, but people do."

"Biology does not make family. It only makes blood relations."

"Most people are not really looking for the truth. They are looking for something to confirm what they already believe is the Truth."

"Common Sense Aint Common No More"

This is the end of the first fifty years of this life's tour. Had no idea I would be around so long, let alone write about it too. I seem to be one of those people who has lived their whole life on the backup plan. I understand better now that no matter how much I have seen, done, or heard, I have not done, seen nor heard it all. There is a whole lot more for me to learn. I am still a kid at heart believing in the innate goodness of all mankind, plus the magic and wonder of the universe.
