Think of this book as a road map of hope for families of children going through cancer.

Though each journey and outcome are different, I can only speak for myself that faith in God played a huge part for my family. Having a great support team will make a difference also. Starting day one of your child's diagnosis, notify all your family: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and close friends, wherever they are.

Don't be afraid to ask questions and seek second opinions from your doctors. There may be new options in the treatment of every case. The last thing I would like to leave you with is what my doctor said, "There must be a God," after looking at the results of my CT scan, after six weeks of radiology. There was no sign of any cancer, and no sign of any subsequent scans over forty-plus years.
